Church Servant Free Church Website Information

Greetings,

In today’s world, people look on the internet to find all kinds of things. Whether researching the history of a famous person or the best prices on automobiles, the internet is the tool people increasingly use. This is true of church locations as well.  More often, people who want to find out about local congregations will search the web.

Even churches that do not have websites will find information about themselves on the internet. Such things as church name and address, and often a picture of the building, are easily found using Google or other search engines. You can be sure; your church is listed on the internet somehow.

The downside oftentimes is that churches will be listed on pages that include questionable advertisements. Also, many of these locators allow commentary from anonymous users. This means that a church may find its public image on the internet in proximity with images and comments that are beyond its control.

Solutions to balance this scenario is for a church to have an individual website and be cross-linked with other websites that are truly Christ-like. Your website presence also makes a difference for those who are seeking a church to attend. It has been our experience in attending smaller churches, that many do not have the resources to set up and maintain a web site. This is where we pray that Church-Servant can be helpful.

Church-Servant.org is a ministry that offers an opportunity for small churches to have more control over their presence on the internet. We can design and maintain a simple website containing your services times, and other weekly events such as Bible study or Prayer meetings. The website for Church-Servant is ad-free and simply designed, with the smaller church in mind.

Thank you for reading and considering these things. We hope the Lord can use us as a tool to help many wandering sheep to find a place of refuge during our pilgrimage here in the world. Amen.

How it works

First I need some basic information about your church so I can setup a website "outline". Referencing the sample sites and such is helpful so I can get a better "feel" for what direction to take your design.

The next step is deciding what additional content to include in your site. Each fellowship is different so this step may take more time and effort. As the Lord gives me time, I am willing to use that time to work with you so you have a website that reflects well the type of public presence you desire to show to the internet world.

That is all you have to do. This website has been designed to be very Google friendly. After the website is online, the search engine robots "crawl" through this website and finds all the church websites hosted here. If the page does not move, it tends to rise in the rankings making it easier for people to find your church.
